Oak Island Stormwater Ordinances

 

Oak Island has a number of ordinances in place to help regulate stormwater.  Although you can access them all at Municode.com, the stormwater-specific ordinances are provided here for easy access.

Since Brunswick County is one of 20 CAMA-regulated counties, other codes are also important regarding development.  The Coastal Resources Advisory Committee (CRAC) is a key citizen advisory group that helps define policy for development along the coast.  Stormwater control is an important factor as noted in this September 27, 2007 presentation and fact sheet.
