Construction BMPs

A part of the Phase II permit requires Oak Island to develop a range of Best Management Practices (BMPs) for construction and post-construction activities.  These are currently being updated in accordance with the state's model ordinance and state BMP manual. 

The eventual goal of this site will be to provide a checklist of construction BMPs for both developers and homeowners as part of any new construction or renovations.  Stay tuned!
